WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has recommended a Cooperative Agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council for its Water Education program, which provides education to the general public to reduce non-point source pollution, at a cost to the County not to exceed $2,500.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement for services to be provided by the Mid-America Regional Council Water Education program, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on this Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
