Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited written bids on Invitation to Bid No. 5-07 for the furnishing of catering services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming twenty-four month period with a twelve-month option to extend; and,
WHEREAS, a total of four responses were received and evaluated; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the best bids, to give Park and Recreation Department clients a variety of catering options; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following:

Robinson's Catering
Grandview, MO
Affordable Elegance
Raymore, MO
Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbeque
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have been made in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
