Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for a temporary construction easement for the widening of Colbern Road, Phase II Project; and,
WHEREAS, the owners of the property have agreed to convey the necessary temporary construction easement to the County as set forth in Exhibit "A"; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the temporary construction easement; and,
WHEREAS, it is also the recommendation of the Director of Public Works to pay the sum of $23,476.00 to Orville C. Repper, Trustee of the Orville C. Repper Trust, and $23,476.00 to Orville C. Repper, Trustee of the Dorothy A. Repper Trust for a total sum of $46,952.00 as a one-time lump sum payment for the temporary construction easement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the aforementioned temporary construction easement, further described in the attached "Exhibit A", be and hereby is accepted and that the Manager of Finance be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the total amount of $46,952.00, issued in two separate checks of $23,476.00 each in consideration for said easement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
