Body
WHEREAS, by an order dated April, 20, 2001, the Missouri State Board of Mediation certified Local Union No. 42 (hereinafter referred to as "Union") as the bargaining representative for certain assistant prosecuting attorneys within the Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and,

WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney and the Union have concluded their negotiations and recommend approval of the Memorandum of Understanding, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A; and,

WHEREAS, the Union's bargaining unit ratified the proposed Memorandum of Understanding; and,

WHEREAS, in the negotiated 2005 Budget as evidenced by Resolution 15449 positions from the Anti Drug Sales Tax Fund were moved to the General Fund in an amount in excess of $182,270 and a re-transfer of positions back to the Drug Fund is necessary to fund this Memorandum of Understanding; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to cover the costs of this Memorandum of Understanding; and,

WHEREAS, the approval of this Memorandum of Understanding is in the best interest of the health, welfare and safe...
