A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC) to provide marketing services for the County through the ThinkKC marketing program, at an annual cost of $10,000.00 subject to budget appropriation, at a total program cost of $40,000.00 over the four (4) year period of the contract.

Body
WHEREAS, the Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC) will market the County through the ThinkKC marketing program; and,
WHEREAS, through the ThinkKC marketing program, the County will be represented in National and International forums and economic development presentations and visiting site selectors will be shown the County's sites and buildings; and,
WHEREAS, the attached agreement provides a suitable mechanism for establishing this contractual relationship; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached agreement with Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC) at an annual cost to the County of $10,000.00 subject to appropriation in the current year's budget at a total program cost of $40,000.00 over the four (4) year period of the contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
