Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200478 for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe for use by the Public Works Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Cretex Concrete Products Midwest, Inc., of Shawnee, Kansas; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Cretex Concrete Products Midwest, Inc., of Shawnee, Kansas, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Cretex Concrete Products Midwest, Inc., of Shawnee, KS, in the estimated amount not to exceed $120,000.00 as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
