Body
WHEREAS, Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health Network provides staff to work in the Public Administrator's office; and,
WHEREAS, these mental health consumers are given the opportunity to become independent and go on to other, permanent, full time employment; and,
WHEREAS, the staff members provided by Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health Network assistant the permanent entitlements processor prepare paperwork for the wards of the Public Administrator's office relating to Medicaid, boarding, food stamp, and Social Security benefits; and,
WHEREAS, the attached agreement provides a suitable mechanism by which to continue the County's assistance to this Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health Network program; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached agreement with Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health Network at an actual cost to the County of $15,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
