BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

The 33 ± acre tract of land is generally located at the northwest corner of Borgman Road and Manasseh Street and is legally described as:
All of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 49, North, Range 29 West, except the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 49 North, Range 29 West, all in Jackson County, Missouri, and being more fully described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 49 North, Range 29 West; thence North 01 degrees 10 minutes 41 seconds East (this bearing and all following bearings being State Plan Grid North referenced to Kansas city Metro Control Station JA-60, using R.T.K. GPS equipment), along the West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, 991.12 feet; thence South 88 degrees 49 minutes 19 seconds East along the South line of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6, a distance of 659.94 feet to the Southeast Corner of said North Half; thence North 01 degrees 53 minutes 25 seconds East along East line of said North Half, 333.08 feet to the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6; thence South 88 degrees 00 minutes 56 seconds East along said North line 634.15 feet to the West Right of Way line of Manasseh Street; thence South 01 degrees 33 minutes 55 seconds West along the West line of said Manasseh Street, 1331.30 feet to the South line of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 6; thence North 88 degrees 06 minutes 35 seconds West along said South line 1289.27 feet to the Point of Beginning, less and Except that part is Roads.
Section 2. The preliminary plat "Mockingbird Hill Estates," creating a six lot residential subdivision, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", is hereby approved.
Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Kenneth and Linda Ronsley (RZ-2004-348), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on October 21, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
