WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal bids on Bid No. 41-04 for the purchase of two (2) all terrain vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has indicated that said vehicles will be used by the traffic patrol division; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as bids thereon, bids from the following:

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Shrouts Suzuki of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the best overall bid according to the bid specifications; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
