A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 38-04 for the furnishing of auto/truck parts from non-dealer sources for use by the Public Works Department and Parks and Recreation Department to Genuine Parts Co. d/b/a NAPA Auto Parts of Blue Springs, MO ($12,750.00) and O'Reilly Auto Parts of Springfield, MO ($125,578.00), to provide for their needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated aggregate amount not to exceed $138,328.00.

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 38-04 for the furnishing of auto/truck parts from non-dealer sources for use by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards to the following vendors:

therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award for upcoming one year period be made to Genuine Parts Co. d/b/a NAPA Auto Parts of Blue Springs, MO, in the estimated annual amount not to exceed $12,750.00 and O'Reilly Auto Parts of Springfield, MO, in the estimated annual amount not to exceed $125,578.00 as recommended by the Purchasing Director, for a total estimated aggregate amount not to exceed $138,328.00 and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
