Body

WHEREAS, by Resolution 14605, dated June 2, 2003, the County did enter into a term and supply contract with Kenton Brothers, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, for the furnishing of locksmith services and security systems equipment for use countywide, at an estimated cost to the County of $37,500.00; and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended the term and supply contract be extended for an additional twelve month period, according to the original contract option, and has recommended an increase to this contract in the amount of $84,021.95, revising the estimated total contract amount not to exceed $121,521.95, to cover a higher volume of usage; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the extension and increase to the contract be made to Kenton Brothers, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, for an estimated contract amount not to exceed $121,521.95 as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County...
