Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposals No. 1-04 for the furnishing of pre-employment physical exams for use by the Corrections Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received two responses from the following:

Vendor

Occupational Health Services
Kansas City (Jackson County), Missouri


Employer Health Services, Inc.
Kansas City (Jackson County), Missouri


and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends that the contract be awarded to Occupational Health Services of Kansas City, Missouri, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best proposal; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
