A RESOLUTION awarding a twelve (12) month term and supply contract on Bid No. 52-03 for the furnishing of car wash service for use by various County departments to WhiteWash dba Spot-Not Car Wash of Kansas City, MO ($7,000.00) and Quick Clean Car Wash, Inc., of Independence, MO ($250.00), in the estimated aggregate amount of $7,250.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 52-03 the furnishing of car wash service for use by various County departments; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, he has recommended that award be split on a geographic basis, with Independence County offices being allowed to use an Independence firm and all others using the lowest and best bidder; and,
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards to the following vendors:

Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Quick Clean Car Wash, Inc. $ 250.00
Independence, MO
Total Estimated Aggregate Award $7,250.00
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
