Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: The 15 ± acres are approximately ½ mile south of Casey Road on the east side of Bynum Road (Mo. Route VV), generally across the road from Stringtown Road and specifically described as:

A part of the West ½ of the NW 1/4 of Section 31, Township 47, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri being herein described as : Beginning at a point 40 feet East of the NW corner of said NW 1/4; said point being on the North Line of said NW 1/4 and also being on the East Right of Way of Mo. State Route"VV"; thence S 88?13'14"E along said North Line for 756.00 feet; thence S 2?21'13" W for 824.75 feet; thence S 85?21'11" W for 761.64 feet to said East Right of Way; thence N 2 ?21'13" E along said Right of Way for 910.00 feet to the point of Beginning. Containing 15.05 acres.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of David Barker (RZ-2003-325), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend this application in a public hearing on November 20, 2003, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
