Body
WHEREAS, the County and the City of Kansas City have agreed to apply County road and bridge funds that are due to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, under the County Urban Road System (CURS) program to road and bridge projects within the City of general County interest and benefit; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has now requested that the attached agreement with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for the County Urban Road System priorities be approved; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached STP - Urban Program Agreement with the City of Kansas City, Missouri and the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
