Body
WHEREAS, on February 15, 2002, freight elevator operator Guadlupe "Virginia" Molino retired after 21 years with the Jackson County Facilities Management Department; and,

WHEREAS, she began her employment with Jackson County as a passenger elevator operator and later moved to the freight elevator; and,

WHEREAS, Virginia was well known for the elaborate decorations she displayed on her elevator during holidays; and,

WHEREAS, she was also well known for her delicious burritos; and,

WHEREAS, judges showed their appreciation for her personal service by complimenting her and giving her gifts; and,

WHEREAS, Virginia received a letter of appreciation which recognized her ability to answer calls promptly and courteously; and,

WHEREAS, Virginia was always willing to make the extra stop to ease the frustration of waiting; and,

WHEREAS, her hobbies include "the boats", family outings, dining out, and various crafts; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Guadlupe "Virginia" Molino for her 21 years of service with the Jackson County Facilities Management Department, and wishes her well in her retirement and all future endeavors.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
