WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 70-00 for the furnishing of an engineering copier for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to American Repro 200 of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,

WHEREAS, the acquisition of a new engineering copier has rendered one KIP 1800 engineering copier, serial number 95010179 as surplus personal property; and,

WHEREAS, this existing engineering copier has become obsolete and unusable; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to ยง1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has requested that he be authorized to dispose of this copier by way of trade-in; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
