Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District GB a tract of land described as follows:
A 3 ± acre tract of land generally located over ½ mile east of Old 50 Highway intersection on the south side of U.S. Highway 50 Eastbound lane and specifically described as part of the southeast quarter of northwest quarter in Section 16, Township 47, Range 30; beginning at a point on west line of southeast quarter of northwest quarter 669 feet north of southwest corner southeast quarter northwest quarter then north 358 feet to south ROW line U.S. 50 Hwy then southeast along said ROW line 702 feet then south 86 feet then N89°59'31" west 627.87' to POB.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Donald Peery (RZ-2000-196), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, by a 6 to 1 vote, failed to recommend approval of this application in a public hearing on July 20, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
