Body
WHEREAS, by Senate Bill 83 (Laws 1999), the general assembly repealed the previously existing sunset provision on the $3.00 user fee imposed on all instruments recorded with the Department of Records, the proceeds of which are to be used to provide assistance to homeless persons; and,

WHEREAS, in view of the adoption of Senate Bill 83, it is appropriate that the Legislature repeal the corresponding sunset provision in the County Code, in order to ensure that collection of this fee can continue uninterrupted; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Enacting Clause. Section 9062., Jackson County Code, 1984, is hereby repealed.

[9062. Sunset Provision.
The provisions of section 9054. to 9058. shall expire and have no force or effect after August 28, 2000.]

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
