Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 13173, dated April 10, 2000, award was made to Superior-Bowen Asphalt Company of Kansas City, MO, for the 2000 Road Surface Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project, No. 2421; and,
WHEREAS, all work contemplated by the original contract has been completed and is fully acceptable to the County; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the Director of the Department of Finance issue final payment to Superior-Bowen Asphalt Company of Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $1,000, and unencumber the funds remaining on the contract in the amount of $7,287.52; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make final payment on the contract and unencumber the remaining funds in the amount of $7,287.52.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
