Body
WHEREAS, due to a turnover in personnel within her office, the County Counselor has recommended that her existing non-merit secretary be reclassified as a paralegal/investigator, with duties as set out in the attached job description; and,
WHEREAS, the addition of the paralegal duties warrants an adjustment in the existing salary range provided by Schedule V to Chapter 2 of the County Code for the "investigator" position in the County Counselor's office; and,
WHEREAS, the recommended adjustment will not result in an actual increase in the salary of any employee, but will rather allow an employee to transfer into the paralegal/ investigator position at her current salary; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that Schedule V to Chapter 2, Jackson County Code, 1984 be and hereby is amended as follows:
