AN ORDINANCE appropriating $3,655.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund and authorizing total payment of $3,655.00 to a certain property owner for the acquisition of a right-of-way and temporary construction easement, in settlement of a claim for damages in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge Project No. 2075-3, Tract No. 47-1.

Body
WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge Project No. 2075-3, Tract No. 47-1, to acquire a right-of-way and temporary construction easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of H. L. Hambrick, in the amount of $3,655.00, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owner has agreed to convey said right-of-way and temporary construction easement, and to settle the claim for damages and has executed these conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $3,655.00; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:

Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
