Body
WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a grant in the amount of $179,297 from the Missouri Department of Mental Health to fund the County's Substance Abuse Traffic Offender's (SATOP) Program; and,
WHEREAS, this grant is subject to a $40,000 local match; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within and an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund are necessary to place the grant and matching funds in the proper accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within and appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
