Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. PW-07-95 for the Harry Truman Drive Extension, Project No. 2248; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR BID
Bob Muehlberger Concrete, Inc.
Merriam, KS $185,465.24
Kaw Valley Sand & Gravel
Kansas City, KS $219,988.90
G. C. Construction
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO $231,721.05
and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Bob Muehlberger Concrete, Inc., of Merriam, KS, for the reason that its is the lowest and best bid submitted; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended by the Director of Public Works, and that the Director of Public Works be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
