A RESOLUTION awarding twelve (12) month term and supply contracts for the furnishing of fuel dispensing equipment, parts, and related services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department and the Sheriff's Department to P.E.I. (Petroleum Equipment, Inc.) of Kansas City, MO, and P.B. Hoidale, Inc., of Overland Park, KS, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200493. This award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriation.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation and Sheriff's Departments have a continuing need for fuel-dispensing equipment, parts, and related services; and,
WHEREAS, a total of thirteen (13) solicitations were distributed and two (2) responses were received under Electronic Solicitation No. BB200493. The following two (2) bids were received:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of twelve (12) month term and supply contracts for the furnishing of fuel dispensing equipment, parts, and related services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department and the Sheriff's Department to P.E.I. (Petroleum Equipment, Inc.) of Kansas City, MO and P.B. Hoidale, Inc., of Overland Park, KS, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200493 as the best and lowest bidders; now therefore,
