Body
WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a grant in the amount of $5,196.00 by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to fund a Kansas City delegation to visit the East Harlem Tutorial Program; and,
WHEREAS, the parties now desires to extend the term of this grant from March 15, 2001, through December 31, 2001, at no additional cost to the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to extend the term of the grant from March 15, 2001, through December 31, 2001, at no additional cost to the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to accomplish this extension.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
