Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fiscal Commission was empowered by Ordinance #1771, #1795 and #1941 to make recommendations to the Legislature for the expenditure of Anti-Drug Sales Tax Funds for the purposes of treatment and rehabilitation of drug offenders; and,

WHEREAS, Samuel U. Rodgers Community Health Center received funding in 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994 upon the recommendation of the Fiscal Commission; and,

WHEREAS, in addition to drug treatment recommended by the Fiscal Commission, Samuel U. Rodgers also provided services pursuant to Resolution #9575 for deferred prosecution; and, ]

WHEREAS, Samuel Rodgers has incurred additional costs for the provision of these services for prior years, under the terms of an agreement with the Prosecuting Attorney's Office in the amount of $10,818; and,

WHEREAS, the Fiscal Commission has carefully reviewed this 1995 proposal from Samuel U. Rodgers Community Health Center; and,

WHEREAS, the Fiscal Commission has recommended funding in the amount of $110,000 from the Anti-Drug Sales Tax for the Samuel U. Rodgers Community Health Center's proposal; therefore,
