Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Drug Task Force (JCDTF) and the U.S. Department of Justice's Drug Enforcement Administration have formed the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) to conduct a joint federal drug investigation, for the period of July 3, 2012 through September 30, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, the overtime costs incurred by the JCDTF for this investigation will be reimbursed by the OCDETF, in an amount not to exceed $6,250.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the projected funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
