Body
WHEREAS, Keiva Whitmire recently graduated from Westport High School; and,
 
WHEREAS, during high school, Keiva was a member of the debate team and was the Senior Class Vice President; and,
 
WHEREAS, Keiva also participated in the UMKC Medical Program, and was a Schools Helping Schools volunteer and committee member; and,
 
WHEREAS, Keiva maintained a 3.0 GPA while working as a photo lab technician; and,
 
WHEREAS, Keiva plans to attend University of Central Missouri in the fall and major in clinical psychology; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Keiva Whitmire on her recent graduation from Westport High School and on her acceptance into the University of Central Missouri.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
