Body
WHEREAS, Kansas City Power & Light Company of Kansas City, MO, has requested a permanent Power Line Easement to improve the main electrical feed at the County's Harry S. Truman Sports Complex in connection with the Sports Complex Improvement Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority, which is managing the project on the County's behalf, has recommended that the County execute the attached easement as in best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Easement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the Easement on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
