Body
WHEREAS, Ross P. Marine is leaving his position as chief executive officer at Truman Medical Center East and Director of Public Health for the Jackson County Health Department to become the new chief operating officer at Trinity Lutheran Hospital; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Marine deserves the very highest degree of praise and recognition for his work at Truman Medical Center East, having admirably served the hospital, community, and its citizens; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Marine has spent more than 30 years in the health care field, 26 years of which consisted of hospital administration; and,

WHEREAS, from 1989 to 1990 Mr. Marine served as the chief executive officer at the University of North Dakota Medical Center Rehabilitation Hospital and Clinics in Grand Forks, N.D., and he served as chief executive officer at Mid America Primary Health Care Association in Kansas City, Missouri from 1986 to 1989; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Marine also held administrative positions at St. John's Hospital in Leavenworth, KS, Presentation Medical Center in Rolla, N.D., and Community Hospital of Ottawa in Ottawa, Illinois; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Marine currently maintains memberships in various professional organizations including Canadian College of Health Services Executives, Medical Group Management Association, Missouri League of Nursing Home Administrators, American Public Health Administrators, Missouri Public Health Association, AHA Society for Health Care Planning and Marketing, International Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and the Newcomen Society; and,
