Title: In accordance with Jackson County Code Section 706.1, I hereby promulgate the following Personnel Rule, being a new definition under Rule 2 of "probationary employee:" Probationary Employee. An employee during the first six months of County employment in a merit position, except Sheriff's deputies, whose probation lasts one year following the completion of training, and park rangers, whose probation lasts six months following the completion of training. To the extent that Executive Orders or the Personnel Rules previously promulgated are inconsistent herewith, the inconsistent provisions are hereby rescinded. This Executive Order shall be effective immediately.
