IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION declaring certain personal property from the Sheriff's Department as surplus personal property and authorizing its donation to the Greenwood, Missouri Police Department for use in its Community Oriented Policing Program (C.O.P.S.). Intro RESOLUTION #10996, October 23, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has certain personal property, namely two 1990 Chevrolet Caprice 4-door sedans VIN 1G1BL5475LA154358, and 1G1BL5470LA153411, that have become surplus; and, WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared this property surplus; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of said surplus property by way of donation to the Greenwood, Missouri Police Department for use in its Community Oriented Policing Program (C.O.P.S.)...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
