BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

A 10.3 + acre tract of land generally located 600 feet north of Colbern Road between Corn Road and Campbell Road specifically all that part of the SE 1/4 of Section 26, Township 48, Range 30 commencing at the center of said Section 26, thence South 02 07' 03" West along said west line of said SW 1/4 a distance of 341.11 feet, thence S 87 59' 15" East along a line parallel to the South line of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 26, a distance of 1312.54 feet to a point on the east line of said quarter-quarter section; then North 02 00' 15" East along said East line a distance of 343.00 feet; then North 88 04' 05" West along a line parallel to the North line of said SE 1/4 a distance of 1311.87 feet to the point of beginning.





Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Gerald Waddell (RZ-96-022), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on February 15, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
