Body
WHEREAS, Central Kansas City Mental Health Services has submitted a proposal for funding in 1996 for a substance abuse treatment program providing comprehensive substance abuse treatment services to inmates of the Jackson County Detention Center from the Anti-Drug Sales Tax Trust Fund, in the amount of $198,000; and,
WHEREAS, the treatment review panel reviewed the treatment proposal submitted by Central Kansas City Mental Health Services and recommends renewed funding in 1996; and,
WHEREAS, Central Kansas City Mental Health Services has received funding in prior years for this program; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Agreement with Central Kansas City Mental Health Services; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
