A RESOLUTION accepting permanent drainage and temporary construction easements, and authorizing payment to the property owners, Doug and Kathy Walkenhorst, in the total amount of $35,000.00 in connection with the Colbern Road Phase III Project.

Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for permanent drainage and temporary construction easements in connection with the Colbern Road, Phase III Project; and,
WHEREAS, the owners of the property needed, Doug and Kathy Walkenhorst, have agreed to convey to the County the requested easements, copies of which are attached hereto, for the payment of the sum of $35,000; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the easements; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached temporary and permanent easements, be and hereby are accepted and that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the amount of $35,000.00 to Doug and Kathy Walkenhorst in consideration for said easements, pursuant to the specific direction of the County Counselor.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
