Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15086, the County Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute an Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the City of Lee's Summit by which the County would be reimbursed the costs for construction on certain dates; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Lee's Summit has made the first reimbursement payment to the County in the amount of $1,379,664.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works desires to use $417,000.00 for the first payment on the bonds for the Wood Chapel Road project, $402,664.00 of the payment for 7 one-lane drainage structures and right-of-way, $400,000.00 of the payment for Colbern Road Phase V, and $160,000.00 for 11 one-lane drainage structures; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Special Road and Bridge Fund:
