Body
WHEREAS, the Lee's Summit High cheerleaders recently won the Class 5A state championship, at the Missouri state cheerleading competition in Columbia; and,
WHEREAS, members of the 2003 cheerleading squad were: Lauren Archer, Lauren Barber, Brandi Braungardt, Alyse Bredemeier, Mallory Cerra, Bryn Chaney, Katie Greenlee, Brittany Greer, Ashley Hall, Megan Harris, Allison Johnson, Hillary Keeth, Cassie Magers, Amanda Payne, Alexandra Phillips, Tara Rand, Beth Reasbeck, Megan Roehl, Ashley Skinner, Angela Smith, Jennifer Wilcoxon, and Lauren Zupon; and,
WHEREAS, in addition to winning the state championship, the girls excelled in the classroom, achieving a team grade point average of 3.36; and,
WHEREAS, the coaches who led this outstanding squad are Robin Dellaguardia and Monica Frost; and,
WHEREAS, congratulations go out to the cheerleading squad of Lee's Summit High School for its exceptional win and for the countless hours of practice that went into achieving its goals; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Lee's Summit High School's 2003 cheerleaders on their victory as Missouri Class 5A state champions.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
