Body
WHEREAS, Resolution 9945, dated October 12, 1993, authorized the Prosecuting Attorney to execute agreements with certain organizations which engage in community crime prevention activities for the purpose of preventing illegal drug use and drug-related offenses at a total cost to the County not to exceed $894,784.00; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to that Resolution, the County entered into an Agreement with Blue Hills Homes Corporation in the amount of $30,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Blue Hills Homes Corporation has submitted only one billing, in the amount of $4,895.62, when the funds were inadvertently unencumbered; and,
WHEREAS, Blue Hills Homes Corporation has performed all of the services required of it under the Agreement and has submitted billings for the remaining $25,104.38; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that that sum be reencumbered so that payment can be made; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Manager of Finance is hereby authorized to reencumber $25,104.38, and make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement with Blue Hills Homes Corporation...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
