BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located ½ mile west Koger Road on the south side of Happy Hollow Road and more specifically described as:
BEGINNING AT THE SE CORNER OF SAID NW 1/4; THENCE S 89°-19'14" W, ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID NW 1/4, 334.23 FEET (DEED = 300'); THENCE N 00°- 02'- 36" E, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF THE E ½, SE 1/4, SAID NW 1/4, 1323.44 FEET TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE SE 1/4, SAID NW 1/4; THENCE N 89°-20'-06" E, ALONG THE SAID NORTH LINE, 334.77 FEET (DEED = 300') TO THE NE CORNER, E 1/2, SE 1/4, SAID NW 1/4; THENCE S 00°-04'-00" W, ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID SW 1/4, NW 1/4, 1323.36 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, AKA 25111 E HAPPY HOLLOW ROAD.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Morris Heide (RZ-2000-221), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on February 15, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
