WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a continuing need for concessions at Adair Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has solicited bids for the furnishing of concessions at Adair Park; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twelve (12) solicitations were distributed and three (3) responses were received of which one (1) was "No Bid"; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two (2) bids thereon from the following:

WHEREAS, this Request for Proposal is based upon the vendor paying a fee to the County for the operation of concessions at Adair Park; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO as the best bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, and that the Director of Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
