Body

WHEREAS, in connection with the Longview Road, Orchard to Blue Ridge Blvd. Project, No. 2075-3, it was necessary to acquire certain rights-of-way and easements within the city limits of the City of Kansas City; and,

 

WHEREAS, the project is now complete and it is therefore appropriate that these rights-of-way and easements be conveyed to the City; and,

 

WHEREAS, the attached quit-claim deed provides a suitable mechanism by which to convey these interests; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached quit-claim deed in favor of the City of Kansas City, MO.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
