Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Corrections has recommended a Cooperative Agreement ("Agreement") with the Kansas City, Missouri School District Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs to provide services for basic academic skills and training to inmates at the Jackson County Department of Corrections, at a cost to the County not to exceed $8,000.00; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement for services to be provided by the ABE program; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on this Agreement.



Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
