Body
WHEREAS, Section 530. of the Jackson County Code, 1984, requires the County Executive to submit the recommended budget for fiscal year 2003 by November 15, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has requested the date for submission of the recommended budget be extended to December 16, 2002, since the County Legislature is not required to act on the 2003 budget until January 2003; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the time by which the County Executive shall submit the recommended budget for fiscal year 2003 to the Legislature be and hereby is extended until December 16, 2002.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
