WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to cover the Family Court Division's Drug Court Supplement grant received from the Missouri Office of the State Courts Administrator for the period of July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006; and,

WHEREAS, the grant project is an effort to help substance - abusing offenders break the cycle of drug addition and drug - related crimes; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Grant Fund:
