A RESOLUTION awarding a contract for the furnishing of a bunker rake for use by the Parks and Recreation Department at the Longview Lake Golf Course to G & T Equipment Co. (Mid-America Industrial) of Kansas City, MO, in the actual amount of $4,891.00, and declaring two 1986 bunker rakes as surplus and authorizing their disposal by way of trade-in.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited written bids for the furnishing of a bunker rake for use by the Parks and Recreation Department at the Longview Lake Golf Course; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from G&T Equipment Co. (Mid-America Industrial) of Kansas City (Jackson County), MO; and,
WHEREAS, the acquisition of this new bunker rake will render the existing bunker rakes as surplus property; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to 1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has requested that he be authorized to dispose of these two bunker rakes by way of trade-in; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the two existing bunker rakes be and hereby are declared surplus property and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of them by way of trade-in...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
