Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2836, Jackson County Code, 1984, the City of Lake Lotawana, Missouri, has requested the use of its County Urban Road System (CURS) funds in the amount of $9,308.50 to cover the cost of a guardrail installed on Milton Thompson Road; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends approval of the request; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the guardrail installation by the City will benefit the citizens of Lake Lotawana and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $9,308.50 as a lump-sum payment to the City of Lake Lotawana to reimburse the City for the cost of the installation of a guardrail on Milton Thompson Road.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
