Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 17757, dated December 6, 2011, the Legislature did award a contract for the furnishing of vinyl billboard advertising under the terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No. 72-11 for a marketing campaign to increase public awareness of COMBAT within the community, at a cost to the County not to exceed $59,880.00; and,
WHEREAS, modifications have since been made in the final phase of the marketing strategy which will require the reprinting of one of the vinyl substrates, at an additional cost to the County not to exceed $800.00; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 2054.6, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends an addendum to the contract with Lamar Outdoor Advertising, under the terms and conditions of RFP 72-11; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the modifications to the billboard advertising be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract and addendum thereto.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
