Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 103-01 for maintenance of softball field lights for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon bids from the following:

Mark One Electric Co. $64.88/hr $69.00/hr
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

R. F. Fisher Electrical $62.00/hr $75.00/hr
Kansas City, KS

and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Mark One Electric Co. of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriation to the using spending agency has heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
