Body
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has solicited informal bid proposals from internet website development companies for the development and maintenance of a website separate from the Jackson County website fro the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed website would also serve as a connection with the Jackson County COMBAT Commission and Anti-Drug Unit of the Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney's office; and,
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended a proposal made by Bensoft Incorporated, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A", for development and maintenance of a website from January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005 at a cost to the County not to exceed $25,000 with monthly payments due upon invoice; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Prosecutor recommends payment for these services from the Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, authorizes the County Executive to execute an agreement in a form to be approved by the County Counselor incorporating recommended proposal; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
